Pass a saliva drug test

So the company I work for got bought by dint of. another company … and this new company drug tests (of course).

I smoked a little 6 days before the test, but hadn’face to face smoked anything for approximately 3 months prior. Got a heads up on the test 3 days in send … brushed, gargled peroxide and mouthwash, and sucked altoids up until about 30 minutes before the test.

I’m fairly bold I passed, but I am wondering what the turnaround time on a standard like this is. It was an Intercept mouth mop, sent to Quest Diagnostic. They told us if it comes up positive, we’ll get a call … if not then we won’t hear anything. I took the test last Friday so its been 8 days, and no news is welfare news of course.

How long do you muse before I’contest in the clear?
Has anyone gotten a failed result from a swab test later than 8 days? All your help is appreciated. Thanks.
